4th-8th grade girls from Kingston only (league rules require Halifax and Plympton players to register with their respective town teams).
Registration opens in September and competitive tryouts for teams start in October and the season runs from October to March.  The fee is $250.  For new travel players or players that require an updated uniform there is an additional cost of approximately $50.  Uniforms can be used for multiple seasons.

Recreational Program

SLYB Recreational basketball is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8*.  The goal of recreational basketball is to develop skills in a less competitive environment than travel.  All on-time registrants will be guaranteed a spot on a team and teams will have an “equal playing” time rule.  All games and practices are played in Kingston.  Registration starts in September and the season runs from December to March. *Please note: due to low 2022-23 numbers, we are not offering a 7th/8th grade girls division for the 2023-24 season. If your daughter is interested in playing, they are invited to play through the Halifax rec program. Please email us at [email protected] and will will put you in touch with the Halifax program coordinator.
